Meet Brunch, formerly known as Chico, the charming English Bulldog mix who's been hanging out with us at Lucky Pup LV for a bit of "polish." Let’s just say, Brunch isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but he more than makes up for it with his heart of gold. This sweet boy is an absolute lovebug who believes his sole purpose in life is to shower everyone with kisses and hugs.
Brunch can be a little, well, intense with his affection – he's not one for subtlety! He's great with both large and small dogs, though his enthusiastic greetings can sometimes catch them by surprise. Despite his stout build, Brunch actually enjoys a good run (with his unique, wobbly bulldog sprint) and is a regular at local coffee and ice cream shops, where he charms everyone with his goofy grin.
Now, Brunch walks beautifully on a leash and has even been on several shopping trips with his trainer. He’ll gladly plop right into your lap if you’re sitting on the floor, thinking he’s a perfect-sized lap dog. Brunch is both crate and potty trained and could potentially live with another dog friend after a proper intro. He’s great with kids, too, though little ones might get knocked over by his full-hearted enthusiasm. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but he's up for any adventure that includes love, laps, and treats!

Our animals are kept in foster care until we find them the best forever home. All prespective adopters fill out our interest form and have a home check as well as a meet and greet with the animal they are considering adopting. A small adoption fee is asked for depending on the animal and it's age etc. An adoption contract is signed by both parties and if there is any issue with the animal after adoption the adopter agrees to return the animal to us.

Our dream at Vegas Pet Rescue Project is to positively impact the Las Vegas homeless, abused and abandoned pets that overwhelm our shelter system by giving them a new lease on LIFE. Our primary focus will be to assist the local animal shelters (Animal Foundation and Henderson Shelter) with the pets who have been given limited time to be adopted before they are removed from the shelter system due to a multitude of reasons. We will accomplish this goal through our extensive network of foster families, donations, and sponsors. We would also like to help finance spay and neuter programs to help low income families be responsible pet owners and decrease the overpopulation issues we face in Vegas. We also feel it important to collect pet supplies and food for local rescues and the city’s Good Samaritans who foster rescue pets and take in strays. Eventually we would love to help create a volunteer based program to investigate and bring down illegal breeding. We have been helping the pet rescue effort in the city for 3 years now and feel like we are just getting started.
