Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nutmeg and Coconut! We, sadly, do not have much history on these two beauties as they were found and brought in by an amazing family who knew they needed a second chance at life. Nutmeg is a sweet and curious girl who enjoys checking in with you and requesting a good cuddle and then going off to make sure her sister is doing alright as well. Nutmeg has a little tail that she is sure to let wag wild when she sees new potential human friends that may be here to give her some extra attention. These two would love to meet you and, hopefully, come home with you to start their new lives today!
If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways:
Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.
**the below two methods are slower than visiting us**
Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.
All adult dog adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies and kennel cough vaccinations
- heartworm test
-current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-microchip implanted & registered to adopter
