Meet Poe! His mom was rescued from a hoarding/abuse situation when she was heavily pregnant. He was born 9/11/24 and is a terrier mix. Mom is 18 lbs and we anticipate him to be similar sized full grown. Poe is inquisitive and loves to play. He's learning new things every day!

We are taking applications for Poe now and he will be ready to go home after his neuter 11/13/24. He is located in Texas and his adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip and neuter. We are in Texas, but transport about every other week and transport is included in adoption fee. We use our application, phone interview, pictures and videos to ensure a perfect match!

More about this rescue

We are Texas based where there is a horrendous overpopulation problem. We pull from several high kill shelters and take in street rescues of the many, many abandoned animals and we get them healthy, vetted, fixed, and adoptable and find them awesome homes in a better area
