She is a champion climber and enjoys batting around spring toys, chasing toy wands, and cuddling up with her littermates for a good grooming session. Initially, she was somewhat fearful around people, but she is becoming more and more friendly each day. She loves having quiet time with her foster mom, enjoying neck scratches, and purring softly. Twinkle would thrive in a quieter home where she gets plenty of human attention and has a kitty playmate close to her age. She adores her sister, Tiana, and would be overjoyed if she could share a forever home with her. Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
