My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hi to Archie. Archie came to us after his mom developed a heart condition that made it difficult for her to continue to care for him. He is a very sweet, affectionate & mellow boy who loves to be around you, and get pets and love. He also loves to sit by the window & watch the birds outside, chirping along with them. He is used to being in a very quiet home, and gets scared easily when he hears sudden, or loud noises. He would be ok with other very mellow cats after a slow introduction. He would be happiest in a quiet, adult only home.

Archie is a such a beautiful and sweet boy. Please come see Archie and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in The District Shopping Center in Tustin (2237 Park Avenue). Adoptions are by appointment and on Saturdays from 1-3pm.

You can get pre-approved for your adoption! Visit our website and submit your application online: http://www.oc-arc.com/adoptions/how-to-adopt/

When you choose to adopt one of OCARC's animals, the adoption donation is $175. Each of our cats and kittens has been:

- Spayed or neutered
- Microchipped
- Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia)
- Tested for FIV (Feline Aids)
- De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage)
- De-wormed (tape and round worms)
- Given their first FVRCP vaccination:

We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we've had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series.

- Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate

These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, an adoption donation of more than $175 is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.
