Arlet is a female chi mix, apx 2-3 years young and 12 pounds. Arlet is a very gentle, quiet and shy girl but not skittish. She wants love more than anything. She never makes a peep and is such a wonderful furbaby. Arlet was rescued from Atascosa animal shelter. She was terrified in her kennel and completely shut down. She would not even look at me. We got to the chi ranch and she was shaking like a leaf while I bathed her she was completely still. She was so dirty, tired, hungry, broken. She ate and then slept all day in her bed. Once she got up and realized she could go outside she slowly came out and started wagging her tail and walked over to me , with the sweetest face and little bow, asking for attention but from two feet away. She has a lot of stories inside her mind and a past life that she is still healing from. Arlet does not have a mean bone in her body. She gets along with all animals and people but Arlet is such a demure and gentle soul , we think she would prefer a quiet home without hyper puppies or small children, although I think visits would be fine. She makes the best cuddle companion. She wants so badly to be loved, to be safe, to know what tomorrow looks like. Arlet was found as a stray with a very dirty collar that was too tight. It appears she was on her own for a long time, I am so happy she will have a loving and safe future, she deserves the best.
