Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A20159 Turtle is a brown and black colored, approximately 1 to 2-year-old, 70- pound, spayed female, German Shepherd.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 11-04-2024 due to the fact they can't give her the attention she needs.
Turtle is a friendly, timid and shy girl here in the shelter. Our staff says she is friendly, just unsure in this shelter environment. She needs more socialization to get her confidence up. Which means it will take a patient owner to work with her to build her confidence. She was a little difficult to leash, because she was scared of what was happening. But once on leash did well, pulling a little especially in the kennel area where dogs were barking. She has had some training and will be "sit and "shake upon command. She has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Turtle will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.
