Meet Little Lady, a shy sweetheart who's learning to shine outside the shelter. This gentle girl was quite overwhelmed in the shelter environment, but since moving to a foster home, she's blossomed into a whole new cat! While she's still getting used to new people and spaces, Little Lady has shown she can truly relax and reveal her soft, loving side with a little patience.

She's ready for her forever home, where she can continue to settle in and become her true self. Little Lady may do well with other cats, given a slow introduction. She could be a good match for older, cat-savvy kids who understand her need for a gentle approach.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
