My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello from Harstem! This sweet, handsome fellow will be your most devoted companion and greatest entertainer. He truly wants to be your best friend, showing you his love through slow blinks, scenting, and shadowing you wherever you go. He’ll linger by the door when you leave and greet you with a meow and head rubs when you come home. All Harstem needs in return is some good quality play time. He is a professional ninja who loves hide-and-seek and a part-time racer when playing fetch and chasing treats. When his energy is spent, he will unwind on a windowsill or nap near you on the tallest rung of his cat tower. He is even starting to become a lap cat. As Harstem’s loyalty and trust must be earned, he is looking for a patient individual or family with no younger than teenagers who will allow him time to reveal his big personality and embrace his quirks. If this is you, Harstem would love to meet for a play date!

More about this rescue

VOKRA’s mission is to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
