Say hello to Milo, a sweet, 7-year-old, 53-pound dog looking for his forever home. Surrendered when his family’s living situation changed, Milo is ready to fill someone’s life with love and laughter.

This affectionate boy loves being the center of attention and is always up for a cuddle or belly rub. He’s wonderful with people, other dogs, and even cats. Milo is house and crate trained, well-behaved on a leash, and enjoys car rides. Milo has not had the easiest time lately, he was surrendered approximately 20 pounds underweight with a terrible skin condition and is looking for an understanding family to help him through these rough times as he continues his journey back to good health. Milo can be protective over his food (can you blame him!?) and toys, so no young children for Milo.

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
