My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Her name is Tiffany and she’s a loyal and vocal kitty who loves to be near her person and often sleeps right by your head. Though she’s not a lap cat and prefers not to be held, she enjoys attention and is always up for a game of fetch. She loves watching out the window and napping in her cat tree. She is skittish and wary of strangers and other pets, but she gets along well with older, calmer cats. She’s an indoor-only cat currently and we are looking for a calm, child-free (or older cat friendlychildren), loving home for her where she can feel safe and close to her person.
Soscatrescue.org and click on adopt.
Tiffany has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV, and FIV. Is up to date on all vaccines.
TO ADOPT:
Fill out the application online at https://www.siameseorientalsnowshoerescue.org/adopt or soscatrescue.org or email Dee@soscatrescue.org and request a copy. More info at siameseorientalsnowshoerescue.org/FAQ
Each cat will come to their new home with: neutered or spayed, age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV/FIV, heartworm negative, and microchipped. DOGS & CATS: Unless otherwise noted, they are compatible with calm dogs who are cat-friendly.
They are also compatible with cat-friendly cats with similar energy levels. If interested in a cat/kitten with a higher energy level than your current cat, adopting a bonded pair is recommended to avoid upsetting your cat. Slow introduction to new dogs and cats, according to the Jackson Galaxy method, is important to ensure they get along.
FLUFFY KITTIES: Adopters must have experience grooming long hair cats or be willing to take a quick class on YouTube about grooming long hair cats.
TRANSPORT DETAILS: Kittens younger than 16 weeks: adopters can fly to Austin or San Antonio airports for pickup. Texas: cats over 14 weeks can travel along 1-35 or within 4 hours of San Antonio with a rescue partner with prior arrangement for a small donation.
Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ, New England and a few other states for $185 per crate.
If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost may be split amongst adopters. Out of state transport must have an Interstate Health Certificate as mandated by law by a qualified veterinarian for $85 - $125 each.
