In danger of return to shelter

Mani is a gentle and calm dog who loves walks, is good on leash and loves to cuddle on the couch.

Mani was taken in for foster but the foster lives in an apartment and is gone most of the day. Mani has not been able to adjust to being alone in a new place all day and so she barks and the neighbors complain.

She hasn't been out of the shelter long and now she will have to go back, which puts her life in jeopardy.

She is a loving and sweet girl who just needs a safe place to live until she can be given the spay appointment she needs and time to decompress and feel normal again.

She seemed interested in meeting other dogs but hasn't had the chance yet, so she really needs some social time.

Submit Application

We are 100% volunteer/foster based, so we do ask that you complete an adoption application in order for us to schedule a phone interview.

2.
Interview

After reviewing your application, we'll contact you to determine if dog is a good fit for your lifestyle and home.

3.
Approve Application

We check vet and personal references to ensure previous dogs were well cared for, so please be thorough in providing this info.

4.
Home Check

This enables the dog to get to know you and your home and for us to suggest anything they may need to be successful in your home.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.

We are primarily a placement service, so the adoption fees vary depending on each pet and what caretakers have invested medically and behaviorally to ensure they are adoption-ready.

We do not have a shelter, so please understand that we are only able to support animals with foster homes or donations toward short-term boarding.

More about this rescue

Doggie Harmony is a metro-Atlanta dog rescue group focused on finding the right homes for dogs in foster care or belonging to owners who wish to re-home them. Our core objective is to place these dogs before they are turned over to animal control facilities, where they may be euthanized. Lastly, Doggie Harmony supports spay/neuter, wellness, and training to help keep or place dogs. This includes helping people find low cost resources and/or lending financial support where there's a qualified need.
