Charlie and his canine friends, Daphne and Fred, were taken in by their owner's sister after her home was flooded. What was supposed to be a temporary situation became permanent, and she was unable to manage having three extra dogs. Charlie is very friendly and has a sweet disposition. Vivacious and curious, Schipperkes do well in large homes and small apartments as long as they get mental stimulation, consistent training and daily exercise. They love kids, get along well with cats and other dogs, and thrive as part of a family unit.
