What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We have had both Clarke and Lois (brother and sister) for about 5 years. Clarke loves people and to be scratched. Of the two, he is the one who most likely follows me around the house. He prefers being inside... we let them in our back yard but he often wants to immediately come back inside.
He can be a little territorial in certain situations, but once he warms to someone, he is a pushover. Lois and Clarke never really got along with each other; they occasionally fight because they are not good at sharing, though that has gotten better over the years. When we take them to be boarded, we always get positive reviews and generally it seems like he gets along OK with other dogs once he is used to them. He is good with our kids. Overall though, they would probably be happier in separate homes, though other pets might be OK after some adjustment.
In general, we are looking for a new home because our new young one is allergic to dogs.
