Hello, my name is Flurry and I'm a pretty silver tabby cat. I can't tell you too much about my early life but somehow I ended up in a shelter when I was an itty bitty kitten. I had to stay there for way too long so my sister and I didn't get to run and play like kittens should. Now that I am in a foster home I am so happy to have a sunny window to look out of and enough room to run around and play. When my foster parents come to my room to visit I approach them with my tail up and motor running. I am not a scaredy cat but I can be a little shy if you try to grab me or come at me too quickly. I guess I developed a little anxiety being at the noisy shelter for so many months. But I love to be pet and will shower you with love when you move slowly!
Something they noticed about me is that I have a little bit of something called mild Cerebellar Hyperplasia (CH). That's a really big name for something that most people just call the wobbles. It doesn't require medical care or impact my life. It just means my brain developed in a way that makes me a little bit clumsy or stumbly at times. But I can do everything and anything that other cats can do, it just looks like I've had a little too much to drink at times.
I am a very chill girl that will do well with a human that works outside of the home. I have great litter box habits and I seem to do well with other dogs and cats. I probably would prefer older kids to younger kids.
My sister and I will be okay without each other but If your home and heart are big enough for two, I would love to have my sister Fuzzy come with me since we have been through a lot together!! I am vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, chipped and ready to go!!
Born May 2024. Children 12 and over.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/
Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.
2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
