Look who just arrived into rescue! Catalina a very loveable barely 10 pound female Shih Tzu. Catalina is around 2 years old. Catalina will be getting spayed, up to date her vaccines health check up, microchipped and then will be ready for a new home. She seems to be housetrained once she learns the routine. Gets along with other dogs and cats. Children unknown. Located in southern Idaho transport is provided as part of adoption within the Pacific northwest to approved home. Due to COVID we may ask for pictures of home and yard

Additional adoption info

Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
