Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Zircon! I came to Smittens with my mom, Opal, and sisters Amber and Amethyst. We were rescued from a parked trailer on a large lot. My sisters and I had lived there our whole lives. We had care takers there until a nice rescuer kept us for a few weeks before coming to Smittens. I am a sweet boy that loves to sit on laps, if you are sitting, I am likely there! I enjoy exploring every corner of an area, pets, shakes toys and Churu. I like to nap and sleep with my sisters as well as people! I may follow you room to room out of curiosity.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
