My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is the cool cat with the rock 'n' roll soul! This little heartthrob is ready to strum his way into your life, with a smooth purr and a laid-back vibe that says he's totally in tune with the good life. George has a talent for finding the coziest spots to "practice his napping skills, which, let's face it, he's already perfected - because, you know, he's a natural.

He's a pro at jamming with his kitty pals and will bring all the charm and rhythm to your household lineup. Whether he's playing solo or looking to make you his bandmate, George is ready to hit all the right notes in your life.

So, if you're ready to adopt the most chill, groovy kitten around, George is here to bring his melodic purrs and rockstar charisma straight to your heart.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
