Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $460, plus tax
Location: Foster Home
Red is an amazing, lovable boy who thrives on cuddles and affection! While he's friendly, he can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his sweet personality shines through. Red does great with other cats and smaller dogs, making him a fantastic addition to a multi-pet household. He's also wonderful with children and is incredibly patient with them.
One of Red's favorite things is soft squeaky toys, though he prefers to keep them all to himself! If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, Red is sure to win your heart.
If you are interested in giving Red a chance at a new life, please submit an application on the Carver Scott website today!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
