Posted 11/6/2024. Clementine and her two brothers (also available for adoption!) were rescued literally minutes before they would have been thrown in the land fill together with a truckload of garbage. Apparently their (most likely feral/street cat) mom gave birth in the dump truck and for the first 8 weeks of their lives this was home to the kittens. The kittens were not used to being handled by humans but were taken to a loving foster home just in time to prevent them from becoming "feral". Clementine is a very spunky and very affectionate beautiful and healthy as well as well socialized 4 month kitten now who is in need of a permanent home within the next 4 weeks. Like all kittens her age, she loves to play and wrestle with her two brothers as much as she likes to snuggle with her humans. She is just a joy and a lot of fun to have around! If you are interested in giving Clementine a loving forever home please e-mail us at inthenest@gmail.com
Feel free to ask questions you may have and request more pictures.

This doesn't obligate you to adopt the pet, it just lets us get to know you and see if you would be a good match for each other.

The Nest,is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Our mission is to rescue, restore, and re-home animals that come from local animal shelters or from individuals who contact us directly.
We are guided by the following ideals:
We will always place the physical and mental well-being of our animals above our own and that of other individuals, making a constant effort to act as an advocate for the animals we serve.
We will to the best of our ability assist in the care and placement of animals that require our assistance, regardless of age, demeanor, physical or behavioral health, because we believe that all animals at any stage in life and health have inherent value and an important place in the world in which we all live.
We will provide educational support for those individuals who seek our assistance, believing that educating the public is one of the keys to keeping animals in their homes and preventing senseless euthanasia.
We will provide ongoing care and homes for animals we cannot place in adoptive homes, because we believe that animals that make their way to The Nest should be cared for until their last days.
