My story

I hoped I'd never have to post this.

I'm looking for a home for my dog, Sofie. She's a 9 year old American bulldog. She loves people but needs to go to a home without animals as she's developed food aggression (pet or animal food) in her older years. She's good around cats, but should be muzzled if left around any animals.

I've had her since 2019 and have done everything I can to stand by her, but I'm in a position where I no longer have a safe place to stay with her and am facing homelessness with not even a car to stay in if I keep her any longer. I'd love for whoever takes her to keep in touch and send pictures and videos so I know she's happy and okay.

We are currently in New York and I'll be moving to Texas soon, so either of those places (or in between) is ideal but I'm willing to figure something out otherwise. I love this dog wholeheartedly and only want her to go to a good, safe home.
