Meet Odie, a 73 lb, lovable goofball in search of his forever home! Odie came to Humane Tomorrow from Florida during Hurricane Milton evacuations. With some facial scars and a docked tail, he looks like he's been through some tough times, but you'd never know it! This resilient guy adapted quickly to living in his foster home and already acts like he's been there forever. This friendly pup is still young and has playful spurts, but can also be calm when needed. He loves other dogs, always ready for a game of chase or a friendly romp in the yard. His social nature extends to people, too-he's an instant friend to everyone he meets!
He sleeps through the night in his own bed near his foster mom. While he has grabbed a sock or two, he has never chewed anything he shouldn't. He enjoys walks, peanut butter, and sitting by the window to see what's going on. Since he is still young, he tends to be mouthy when playing with his humans. He's working on this, but for now probably shouldn't live with young kids under the age of 6. This goofy guy is sure to bring joy and laughter to your home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who knows how to have fun, Odie is the perfect match for you. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
