Meet Pecan, a striking red-coated puppy with beautiful green eyes, ready to find her forever family! This affectionate Kentucky girl loves to give hugs and kisses and has already started housebreaking. With her curious and intuitive nature, Pecan would love to attend puppy school and canine good citizen classes, where she could show off her smarts. Great with kids and other pets, she’s playful, loving, and ready to bring joy to a new family. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion, Pecan is waiting to meet you!
Animal is Fostered in: Caledonia and able to go home on or after 11/16/24
He/She is scheduled for alteration on 11/15/2024. If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration. We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK. Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled. If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded. We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us. We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments. Missed appointments also delay care that other animals could be receiving. For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com
Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption:
Microchip
Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed)
Heartworm Testing (dogs); FELV/FIV Testing (cats)
Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog; CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated. PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.
Dewormed
All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam. All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources. Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found! Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.
