Hi there, I’m Cherie, a pretty little Poodle about 5 years old, 13.6 lbs and I was rescued from a hoarding situation where all of us were dirty, crawling with fleas, and feeling pretty miserable. Several of us were brought to San Antonio through 4 Little Paws so we could live in foster homes while receiving wonderful care, getting vaccines, chips, spays, or neuters, with time to make friends and have some fun in the process. These days I’m feeling great and I am more than ready to find the life I deserve!
I am a medium-energy little lady with an easygoing attitude and I’m desperate for love. I am friendly with everyone including other dogs, but not playful with my dog friends, at least not yet and I’m not sure what to make of doggy toys. For now, I am mostly focused on people and a bit clingy. I’m uber-sweet and affectionate and can't think of anything better than snuggling with my people and sleeping beside them in bed each night. I am very well-behaved, rarely bark, fully housebroken, and when I’m left alone I curl up in my kennel and take a nap. I basically love to do whatever you are doing, watching TV, reading a book, going for a walk, taking a ride in the car, or working around the house, I just love to be with you! I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be so inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption!
