Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As Foster Dad's current favorite kitten, you truly cannot go wrong with adopting Roam!! Named after the classic B-52's song, Roam and his siblings (Rock Lobster and Love Shack) came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control. These three have been such a pleasure to foster as they are loving, cuddly, chatty, and fun! Roam loves nothing more than chasing and wrestling with his siblings and then piling up on top of them for a snuggle and a nap. His favorite toy is a purple wand toy that he will chew and kick on so hard he really thinks he is a big tough kitty, funny to see from such a tiny cat!

Roam would love the chance at an adoptive home with one of his siblings (Rock Lobster and Love Shack) and priority will go to applications looking to adopt a pair (or trio). Roam is also great at making new friends and would do well meeting your resident kitty if you already have a cat. He does require at least one other age appropriate cat pal in his forever home. Roam has not spent any time with children or dogs in foster care, but he is easy going and fun and would likely do just fine given appropriate introductions.

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
