My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Asha, a 6 pound, one-year-old Maltese mix, with a gentle spirit. Although she can be a bit timid at first, once she warms up she becomes an affectionate little companion who loves to give kisses. Asha is very friendly and enjoys making new friends, whether they’re human or canine. While she might bark at cats, she’s perfectly fine around them and other dogs. She uses potty pads but her foster mom is working on Asha pottying outside. Asha just needs a little time to adjust, but her playful and loving nature will win you over in no time!

Asha's adoption fee is $300. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped with registration, heartworm tested negative and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. If interested please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
