My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mikko is the sweetest little man - he’s only about 30lbs! He loves attention, but does well on his own. He is potty trained and not destructive at all, even with his toys! He loves other dogs and does very well with his dog social manners, reading the body language of his canine counterparts and reacting appropriately. Mikko loves all people, especially kids. He loves cuddles and appreciates being able to feel safe with you; even if trust means just sitting on the couch with his head in your lap.
Mikko does well with cats, but is still learning as he’s only just now at almost a year old being exposed to feline friends. We’re hopeful that with his acclimation to follow direction, he’ll adjust to having cats around very quickly! For now, he’s just more interested in the cats than we’d like - but not aggressive!
Mikko would be a great addition to any family. After being dumped and abused by his previous owners, Mikko deserves his forever being pampered by people who love him.

If your application is approved, you will be notified and a meet and greet scheduled where the adoption fees will be paid in full and the adoption contract signed.

Take your new pet home! The staff member will provide you with instructions on how to care for your new pet and will answer any questions you have.
