My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Indigo from our Shades of Blue litter is a brave and spunky gal who would do well in just about any forever home. We think shed really enjoy having a canine sibling, but its not necessarily required in her case as shes a bit more outgoing and independent than her littermates. In foster care, Indigo is currently working on crate training and potty training. She has less and less accidents every day! Indigo is fostered with 4 other dogs of all ages and multiple cats. You can meet Indigo and her littermates at our two Shades of Blue Puppy Yoga classes in Georgetown (11/9) and Lexington (11/24). Head to our Facebook page for more info: Facebook.com/savedbyfatedogrescue Indigo will complete her vet care on 11/26 and then shell be ready to go to her forever home just in time for Thanksgiving! Her adoption fee is $300. If youre interested in adopting, please submit an application and well be in touch ASAP. A meet with any approved applicants current pets will be required before starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Additional adoption info

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
