My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Dana (DanaCC4C@gmail.com), (925) 586-6408 for more information about this pet.

Georgis was born in May and is about 7 months old now. Georgia came from a 50+ cat situation and wasn't handled much as a baby. I rescued her around 3 1/2 months old and have been patiently working with her. I didn't want to TNR her since she enjoyed petting and purred loudly, was just nervous being approached.

She is comfortable with me walking up to her napping on the cat tree to pet her, where she instantly starts purring and rolling for belly rubs. She is gaining confidence to approach me when I'm stationary in the 'kitty bedroom'. For example, if I'm standing still and put my hand down for her, or sit on the bed or on the floor. I just leave my hand out and snap my fingers ('clicker training'), and she rubs into hand, rubs her head into my side then does a full-body rub to lay down against my legs, then roll for belly rubs.

I can pull her into my lap or onto my legs where she’ll stretch out and enjoy pets for a few minutes, then move off of me.

She absolutely LOVES every cat and kitten she’s met. She has NEVER hissed, which Would be a normal reaction to meeting a new cat. I even put a 4-year-old cat in with her that I was babysitting. No hissing! Instead, she slowly inched closer to him, reached her paw out for him to sniff and waited for him to be her friend.

All medical is complete. Please contact me if you would like to meet her at my house. She is available as a 'foster-to-adopt'. I am dedicated to the kitties I rescue, but already have 4 cats and she will do better with her own home and person to focus on her.
