My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Contessa, "Ducky"; the sweetest 4.5 years old blond Cocker Spaniel. Contessa has a very calm temperament, gentle and loving. She is up to date on vaccines, micro chipped, wormed, will be spayed before adoption. Loves kids, crate trained, ok with calm dogs, and cats. She is not housetrained, lived outside. Contessa so wants just wants to be loved. Located in southern Idaho, transport is provided to approved home within the Pacific northwest. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com for Contessa.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
Adoption only within the northwest.
