Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zak is a sweet 1-year-old Pit mix who had a rough start to life, but he hasn’t let that dim his spunky personality. This resilient boy is now ready to find her forever home where he can be loved and cherished.
Zak is a little shy at first but once he knows he's safe he's affectionate, goofy and eager to please. He’s looking for a family who can provide him with the stability and care he deserves. Zak gets along well with people and other dogs and would love to become the newest member of your family.
If you’re ready to give Zak the forever home he’s been waiting for, please apply today! 🐾❤️ https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
Disclaimer: I am located in Texas. I can be transported once adopted. Transport fee is $230.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations).
Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Considering distance, if you are close enough to where the pet is fostering, we like for you to meet the pet. If not, we can send pics/video

More about this rescue
We are a foster - based rescue that formed out of necessity because there was such a high-kill rate at our local city shelter. We rescue dogs from the shelter when the shelter becomes full. Otherwise, they are put down after their allotted time is up. We then place them in loving foster homes until they are adopted.
We also rescue other pets from the community as needed.
