Meet Adoptable Dude! Dude is a 40-pound mixed-breed pup bursting with playful energy and affection. This good boy is looking for an active and loving forever home! Dude was rescued by HFP with his littermates and mom last winter. He was lovingly hand raised in foster care and adopted around 3 months of age, but unfortunately didn’t find his forever home.

Dude is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained for walks, and knows multiple commands. Dude has graduated from a beginner training course and has been recommended for agility training. He knows Sit, Look, Touch, Lay Down, Stay/Wait, Come, High-Five, Drop it, Take it, Leave it, and Let's Walk.

Dude thrives on daily walks and lots of playtime, making him the perfect companion for an active household. He loves other dogs and would do great with a canine buddy that matches his enthusiasm. Dude currently lives with a 7 year old and while his excitement is contagious, his energetic nature might be a bit much for smaller children, so he’s best suited for a home with older kids or adults who can match his zest for life.

With consistent training and plenty of love, Dude’s big personality will shine even brighter! He’s up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and ready to bring joy to his new family.

Adoption/Rehoming Fee $100 — Neutered, Vaccinated, Microchipped, 10 Month Mixed Breed

Interested in adopting?
1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application
2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call!
3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home

Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time.

If we AND you feel the dog is right for your family, adoption will be formalized!

Our number one goal is to adopt good dogs to great homes, so that no dog is left behind. Our animals are spayed/neutered (or will be released with a voucher and agreement to provide proof of certificate within vet-approved date).

We wish for our rescue dogs to be fully immersed in your lives, and be treated like true, loved members of the family.

All Adopters must sign a waiver release/memorandum of Understanding with completion of Adoption.
