My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, Iandamp;#39;m Uncle Fester. Iandamp;#39;m a bit timid, you see. New people and places can be quite overwhelming for a kitten like me. But, give me a little time and patience, and Iandamp;#39;ll warm up to you. I love to play with string toys and chase after the little red dot. I can be quite the entertainer once I get comfortable. At night, I enjoy curling up in a cozy corner for a good snooze. Iandamp;#39;m still learning about this big world, but Iandamp;#39;m eager to find a family who can guide me. Adopting me means gaining a companion who, with your love, will grow from a shy kitten into a confident cat.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We have daily adoption hours (please check our website for holiday changes), and no appointment is required.

2.

Meet the Pet

Walk through the dog and cat adoption areas, and when a pet tugs on your heart strings, we encourage you to speak with an adoption counselor

3.

Submit Application

Tell us about your expectations, wishes and members of your household on our one-page adopter survey.

4.

Interview

Less an "interview" more "conversation." Your adoption counselor will use your adopter survey as a guide and review the pet's file.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

You'll be asked to show a government-issued photo identification and proof of your address.

6.

Pay Fee

Check out in our Lora Robins Gift shop where essential supplies for your new companion are available for purchase.

7.

Take the Pet Home

You'll take your new companion home the same day. Expert behavior support is available by calling 804-643-7722.
