A staff member says this about me: " I have been getting to know Oakley for a couple of days now. When I first interacted with her, she gave me a low growl and retreated to the other side of the kennel. I began giving her cat food during meal times. She's beginning to meet me at the front of the kennel with a full tail wag. She gives me no problem with feeding and scooping around her . I will attempt to take her today and see how she does.
A staff member says this about me: " Today, Oakley got some outside time. She leashed up fairly easy with no problem. She walks beautifully on leash. When we entered the play yard, I let her explore on her own. After chilling on the side lines for a few minutes, she began to come up to me for treats (which she takes super gentle). A few more minutes roll by, and she's allowing me to pet her without tensing up. She began placing her head on my lap ever so gently. She started to open up more with a loose body posture and her tail started to loosen up as well. This is where her personality began to shine. She's super chill and laid back, but also really goofy. She would do little play hops around the yard. She demanded butt scratches and will sit with the help of a few good treats. She's an overall really chill girl.
