My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilson (A131160) is a 2-year-old pittie x malinois mix who weighed over 60 lbs at intake!

11/02/24 This handsome guy is Wilson! Wilson arrived at the shelter as a stray and was not picked up by his previous owner. Wilson has previously arrived at the shelter as a stray, so he is looking for a home that will help keep him contained! We do not know specifics about Wilson's history, but he has been very outgoing while at the shelter. We have noticed that Wilson can be very pushy and vocal toward other dogs, so he may prefer to be the only dog in his next home. We do not know how Wilson does with other animals, such as cats or pocket pets, and urge you to use caution when introducing him to any and doing so in a slow and controlled manner. At the shelter Wilson has been very hyperfixated on the smaller critters he has walked by and would do best in a home without the temptation of small animals to chase. We also do not know how Wilson does with children, but he can be pretty rowdy. Please keep this in mind if you have little ones in the house. Wilson has done well keeping his kennel clean here, so he may be housebroken. He could also highly benefit from a basic obedience class with a certified trainer! If you are interested in this rowdy young man, please give the shelter a call!November 12, 2024, 3:02 pm
