My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jelly's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Jelly's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=008137) to learn even more about Jelly!

Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Jelly is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org.

Just in time for cuffing season, Jelly is here to give you all the cuddles! This gentle good girl is a lady of leisure, enjoying slow strolls around the block and couch naps - just don’t tell her she snores. Jelly wants to be wherever the people are - whether that’s cheering on the runners for the NYC Marathon, following you into the kitchen (but never begging for food) and especially in the bathroom where she’ll keep your bath mat warm for you while you shower. Jelly is the perfect work from home partner, sleeping at your feet during meetings - but is also perfectly content in her crate if you need to run errands. Jelly loves to play with her toys, and loves to bring them with her into her crate as pillows for more naps. Jelly makes friends with everyone she meets, accepting pets and giving kisses to adults and especially kids. Like a lady, Jelly doesn’t jump up, takes treats gently but may lean in with a full body lean/hug if you give her skritches in the right spot. Jelly is a New York girl, and isn’t bothered by the loud noises of the city - or the hair dryer. Jelly is the goodest girl and doubles as a weighted blanket as the weather gets colder. Jelly also knows her limits, putting herself to bed in her crate at night (or in the afternoon) when she's ready to go to sleep. This sweet girl can’t wait to meet her forever family!
