My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Raptor. I'm a handsome DSH Seal Point Siamese male with an estimated birthdate of 9/16/19. I came from a breeding situation that went off track, and now I'm looking for a new home. At first, I took a little time to get my bearings in a new place, but once I felt safe, my confident personality shined. Around here, I'm known as the "leading man" with the ladies, and I carry myself like one, too. When it comes to affection, I'm all in. I love pets, and if you're giving someone else the love, I'll politely (or not-so-politely) butt in to make sure I'm not forgotten. Maybe it's me "checking on my ladies," or maybe it's just my natural confidence - I'm used to being the top cat, and I don't mind asking for the attention I deserve. I'm a fan of full-body pets and don't mind some lap time or being held for a bit, just don't overdo it. I like affection, but I'm not one for smothering. I love my wet food, and I'll need my own dining space if I'm sharing a home with other cats, or I might just "accidentally" help myself to their portions too. After all, I had some catching up to do in the beginning, but now that I'm at a healthy weight, portion control will keep me in tip-top shape. I didn't really get much playtime before, so I'm still figuring out what to do with toys yet. So far, laser light and a ping-pong ball are a good start. I might surprise you. I'd do well with adults who are home a lot to keep me company, or maybe older kids who know when to give a cat some space. Ideally, I'd love to be your one and only, but I could get along with other cats as long as they understand I'm the boss. My introduction with others should be slow and gradual - per Wild Blue Cats instructions. I promise, I'll make it worth your while with all the charm, confidence, and love you could want. Think you are up to sharing a home with a cool guy like me? Let's meet and find out! Start by completing an application at www.wbcats.org/adopt to get approved.November 5, 2024, 5:36 pm
