My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Woodhouse but my foster mom calls me "Sad Bobcat." I don't really know why she calls me that but then again, I've never looked in a mirror. I just tell her, I'm not actually sad - I'm SOULFUL. I might be shy initially, but I'll warm up into a gentle, playful friend who will keep you laughing. I have a needle-phobia and once got so dramatic at the vet that I peed my pants and then fainted after getting a shot (hey, I like to keep things interesting). I love a good wand toy, fake mice and cuddles with my brothers. I would be happy to get adopted with one of my siblings, but I would do okay solo too. As long as you have nature documentaries, smooth jazz and pencils I can knock off your desk I will be happy. I would do ok with tiny humans, as long as they're gentle with me, and could probably learn to love a calm dog eventually. If your tiny humans or your dogs are too loud/energetic it will make me nervous. Please be sure to follow the introduction procedures provided by Wild Blue Cats! to make this a good experience for all of us! --- NOTE: I can NOT be adopted as a barn cat or be outdoors unsupervised, as I do not know how to protect myself.

We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.
