Meet Wishbone – The Resilient Little Adventurer!

Wishbone's journey began as a stray, bravely running around with a cone on his head and a bandaged hind leg, the wrap trailing behind him. Now, at around a year old and 16 pounds, he’s all healed up and ready to embrace life to the fullest. Probably part Smooth Fox Terrier, Wishbone brings all the playful, affectionate charm of a young, small-breed pup.

This little guy’s joy is contagious! Whether it’s a woodland walk or a morning snuggle, Wishbone is thrilled to be by your side. He’s friendly, sweet, and full of spunk. He’s met other dogs and cats out and about and, while he may bark if offended, he’s quick to get along with calm, confident animals.

Wishbone is fast on his paws and would make an amazing agility partner! He’s learning his leash manners and, though he’s curious about outdoor “treasures,” he’s a smart cookie, eager to learn with a bit of guidance. And for his size, this guy can leap like a lion!

At home, Wishbone enjoys having some alone time to relax, especially in a calm, low-traffic household. He’s best suited to older, dog-savvy children who respect his space and prefer a cozy, quiet environment. Given a comfy blanket to burrow in, some food puzzles, or chew toys, and he’s a happy camper. Though he’s crate-friendly, Wishbone is such a good boy that he does well in a dog-proofed space.
