Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rocky is an adorable, silly and sweet adult pup. We are unsure of his exact age, but the vet seems to believe he is about 9 years old and weighs about 12 pounds.
Rocky would do best with a dog savvy, active family with no young children. He's 100% potty trained, loves to take walks in the neighborhood and going for rides in the car.
He gets along great with other small dogs but is indifferent to playing with them. We are unsure about his compatibility with larger dogs or cats.
Toys and balls are Rocky's favorite and he keeps himself well occupied with them. However, he can get a little possessive and will guard objects if you try to take them from him. Caution needs to be taken with Rocky when needing to remove a particular possession from him, but he will gladly be distracted by a replacement item.
Rocky loves to sleep in bed with his people and gets so excited at bedtime and in the morning that he rolls around kicking wildly. He just loves life and is one happy little boy!
Rocky would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and where his family is home more often than not, but if his family are active and committed to taking him on regular leashed walks, a fenced yard is negotiable.
Rocky will also require regular visits to the groomer and it is recommended he is muzzled when strangers are handling him. However, he absolutely loves being brushed at home and spins in circles when he sees the brush come out.
Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped & on preventative.
He is located in Greenville, South Carolina.
