Some confuse Savannah for a young doberman but she is a coonhound!
Having a rough start, she has had her tail amputated and her wounds are healing. She has gone from being terrified of even having music playing or the tv playing while muted, to a confident and goofy girl.
After just 5 minutes of playing with her toys, she is ready to crash on the couch and binge her person’s favorite shows.
We are still working on leash walking and not jumping but she is eager to please and it shouldnt take too much for her to be easy to handle.
She does well with cats, especially if they dont mind her. If they hiss or bat at her, she will get excited and bark at them. I have one declawed cat that doesnt mind her one bit and they can pass each other with no incidents. My girls are a little more opinionated and she gets excited.
Well socialized, enjoying the cool mornings sniffing around the park or trotting along her husky friends. Her foster sister likes her space but Savannah listens to the social cues given, without incident.
