We adopted Aster in June, he is currently 8 months old. It is definitely with heavy heart that we are rehoming him, but we determined this is the best decision for Aster and us.
Aster is very high-energy, smart kitten. He is also very food driven, he learned many tricks like high five, paw, and lay down. He is also very curious cat, he will follow you everywhere and jump on counters to see what you are doing every chance he gets. He is snuggly at times, but he does not like to be held for a long time.
We are mainly rehoming him because our resident cat isn’t getting along with him. At first, she just avoided him but he started to become more aggressive in his approach. It drove our 7 year old cat to a point where she is showing aggression, verbally and physically, towards him which she has never shown in the past with other cats. He also became very territorial of spaces.
We think it would be best if he goes to a bigger home with no other cats or maybe a young cat he can grow with
