Hi there, I’m a very handsome long-haired Chihuahua mix named Reggie. I am about 3 years old, 17 lbs and I am a happy friendly boy who loves to run zoomies, play with my doggy friends, play with squeaky toys, and snuggle with my people. I make friends easily with people young and old, not interested in cats, and although I’m great with other dogs, I need to introduce myself first with a few barks, and some sniffs as I circle around making sure they are friendly. I’m affectionate and happily share kisses, love snuggling, pets, and being held in your arms, I’m well-behaved and housebroken, just learned how to use a doggy door, and love going for walks and rides in the car. I was living in San Antonio Texas when my owner no longer wanted a dog and surrendered me to 4 Little Paws Rescue. I was confused, but they say one man's trash is another man's treasure and my foster mom says I’m a gem. A wonderful little dog who anyone would easily fit into any home situation. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started! Inquire about me today and bring me home!

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
