My name is Sammy Dean. I am 50 lbs and a little over 1 year old. I have so many amazing qualities all in one package. I am in an awesome foster home in CT with an ASCZ alum. I have really enjoyed my time with her and my other dog friends I have met. I am friendly, playful, and I greet appropriately. Overall, I am really social! I am also great on leash... and let's keep the good qualities coming. I am housebroken and I accept my time in the crate when needed. Toys - love them! I have met kids of all ages and have enjoyed them all. I am a sturdy guy so the knock down factor is present if I live in a home with kids. Sometimes I get that puppy excitement because I am just really enjoying life! In addition.... I ride well in the car; I don't bark much at all AND I even went on a little jog (with a loose leash) the other day! I mean... I am clearly a catch. Interview

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application. Please check your spam for our emails!

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
