Meet the Pet
This helps The Rescue Crew with pet care costs.
Dally is a very loving boy. He LOVES attention and loves to love. He is a happy energetic boy that is happy to be a dog! He has been adjusting very well being in a home. He was left, tied up with no food, water or shelter. He is a tad bit shy at first but warms up quickly. He is super smart and listens well, epecially to authority. With his breed as a cattle dog/pitty mix, a strong leader is best. He does pretty well in a kennel. He cries when you leave, but settles down. He does best in an XL plastic crate. He is potty trained. He will probably have a few accidents in the first week. He takes about 3 days to adjust to new situations. He also needs to know that you are coming back for him, so once on a schedule, he can start to rely on his people coming back. Dally requires a tie out when outside. Unless you have a 6ft privacy fence. He's very agile and will jump a 4ft fence if he feels the need. He does well on a tie out though! He will also do best with an active family or person. He is always up for adventure. He pulls a bit on a leash, but will get better with practice. He does get a little anxious in a car, but it is definately manageable. He is good with other dogs. Not sure about cats. He loves all the people that he has met so far. He would do very well with obediance trainging and any other training you would be willing to do. He picks up fast on things. Dally is a good boy who deserves the best!
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.
All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.
