Otter is a 2-year-old Ragamuffin cat. We adopted him from a breeder in Indiana along with his sister, Nori. Otter is the most affectionate and easy going cat we have ever known. He purrs freely for anyone that is willing to offer affection. He loves all humans, including young children. He is the first at the door to greet guests. Otter is extremely easy to handle. We brush him daily, trim his nails regularly, and bathe him when needed, all with ease. He is not a picky eater, but really enjoys his daily offering of wet food. Otter is litter box perfect and does not mind sharing the two we have with his sister.
We recently discovered that one of our family members has an underlying autoimmune disorder that is greatly aggravated by pet dander. At this time, we are attempting to reduce this by rehoming just one of our two cats. We are choosing to rehome Otter as he is likely to adapt beautifully to new surroundings, whereas his sister is a bit more standoffish.
