My name is Cane!

Hi! I’m Cane the Cane Corso, and I’m officially the goodest boy in all the land! I made the journey from sunny Florida to Colorado, hoping to find my forever family. People call me a "big baby" because I adore my hoomans so much and want to be with them all the time. Snuggles and pets are my favorite, and I’m a true “Velcro dog”—wherever you go, I want to be right there with you!

Right now, I’m learning about this strange thing called a reflection. Sometimes, I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and let’s just say, I’m so handsome it freaks me out! So, I’m working on avoiding mirrors for now—it’s a bit of a weird flex, I know.

I would be happiest in a home where my people are around a lot, maybe even working from home, so I can check in and say hi throughout the day. I’m working through a bit of anxiety after all the changes I’ve been through. I’m still figuring out who my mommy and daddy are and whether I’m safe, but with a little patience, I know I’ll settle in and feel secure.
