My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Mary aka Pancake, a playful and curious pup born on June 29th, and I’m ready to find my forever home! Here’s a little bit about me:

--- I'm a bit of a shy girl, I'm in a foster home and I'm working hard at becoming a brave girl. I walk to my foster mom frequently now for pets. I'm also getting used to the day to day noises of living in a house.

--- I do great with other dogs and I love playing with them, they seem to boost my confidence too. I live with cats and I'm fine with them. I'm an all around happy girl!

--- Crate & House Training Pro: I’m doing great with my crate training and love having a cozy spot to rest after a day of exploring. My foster mom says I'm one of her easiest dogs to housebreak, I have a routine and I barely have accidents anymore!

--- Healthy & Ready for Love: I’m up to date on all my shots, spayed, microchipped, and have been on a consistent flea/tick and deworming schedule.

As for my breed, I might be a mix of a Rat Terrier, Boston Terrier, or Frenchie—but who knows? 70% of people guess dog breeds wrong, so we can just call me a lovable mystery mix!

If you’re looking for a sweet, curious, and independent companion, I’m your girl! Come meet me today, and let’s start our adventure together! 🏡❤️

Additional adoption info

The dogs in our care will be adopted out with an updated vet exam, they will be up to date on their rabies (if of age), and DHPP. All dogs will also be microchipped and dewormed. If they are of age, they will also be altered. We do not do pediatric spays or neuters so a deposit is required at the time of adoption, once the dog is altered, the deposit will be returned.

Due to the American Veterinary Medical Association's recommendation to not spay/neuter dogs under 6 or 12 months depending on breed and our vets recommendation. Large-breed puppies under 6-months will not be altered prior to adoption but do require a deposit that will be returned once your dog is altered. Small breed and adults that are 6-months or older, will be done prior to adoption.

During the time spent at Forever Fido, all dogs will be socialized with many confident and social dogs of all ages, safely interact with kids of many ages, appropriately meet a variety of humans, start potty and crate training, and begin basic puppy manners including impulse control.

Due to the effort we put into our puppies & dogs prior to adoption, we do require all applicants to enroll in a puppy or basic obedience class with a positive reinforcement trainer. Proof of enrollment will be required before the puppy/dog will be sent home.
