ALLIE has a darling little curious head tilt that makes her extra-especially cute. She and her brother PIPPIN are ready to find a great indoor home, and would love to go together if they can, since they play and tussle together so well. If not, she would love another kitten her age to play with or another pet at home to keep her company. ALLIE has never been around dogs, but we think she would do fine with a cat-friendly dog and a slow introduction.
Toys, people, other cats, it does not matter, she is all about play. But her favorite toy of all is a TUNNEL. Get her a tunnel and she will be SO happy! Of course, get her a lot of other toys, too, and a cat tree, and a scratching post, but that tunnel, that will entertain you and her for hours!
Allie also loves to purr and be petted. She has a non-stop purr-motor and a sweet disposition that says, "don't stop" which makes you feel guilty if you stop. This girl is going to grab your heart.
Allie had a bad upper respiratory infection when she was a baby that has completely cleared up now, but she may always have clear teary eyes that sometimes need to be wiped (like a Persian cat's weepy eyes) but it does not bother her, and she is not contagious or sick. Allie has no concept of the dangers of outdoor life as a bottle baby and needs to be an indoor cat for the rest of her life with enrichment toys and attention indoors. Allie comes to you with all the love, fun and joy, spayed, vaccinated to her current age, microchipped, dewormed and flea and heartworm medication included for only a $35 adoption fee.
Do not forget about her brother, PIPPIN. ALLIE would like to have a companion, and PIPPIN would be a perfect fit!

More about this shelter
The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
