But Winston has a bit of a “cat” side to him too; he knows exactly what he wants and when he wants it. He’ll gladly let you know when he’s ready for some affection, but he’s just as happy having his own space when he’s done.
Winston would thrive in a home with no young children (over 12 is best), where he can be the center of attention. He’s looking for an experienced adopter who appreciates his balance of independence and playfulness and understands his need for space and respect. Due to the stress of the shelter environment, Winston is currently on anxiety medication, but this little guy may not need it once he finds his cozy forever home.

Our screening process includes meet and greets, reference checks, and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family are compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements. We do everything we can to ensure that loving homes are found for these amazing pets.
